This week we read See How We Grow by Katacha Diaz. We learned how children grow and change as they get older. We drew a picture to share what babies can do!
We also listened to the story There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow by Lucille Colandro. The kiddos drew their favorite part of the story!
For handwriting, the kiddos practiced writing the uppercase letters E, F, G, H, and I.
During the Work With Miss Farr center, some friends played Go Fish with lowercase letters
Others practiced their Letter Naming Fluency with Race to Fluency
And some practiced phoneme segmentation with cars and Road to Reading!
For math, we worked on measuring objects around the room using unifix cubes!
We also measured other objects using cubes, including our own feet!
