January 22-26!

Bubble painting this week!  After reading The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, we made our own version of Peter playing in the snow!

One group worked with me to read nonsense words!

We also had a race to see how quickly the kiddos could put their Fundations magnet letters back in alphabetical order!

Our story was Farfallina and Marcel, by Holly Keller,  a story about two friends, a caterpillar and a goose.  We finished the sentence and drew a picture to share what we like to do with our friends!

In Math, we learned about heavier and lighter.  We used a scale to compare objects and later in the week we used the scale to see how many cubes were as heavy as a pair of scissors, a glue stick, a pencil, and a container of Play-Do!

Great fun with Frozen puzzles!
