December 4-8

Hello Everyone!

Our story this week was A Bed For A Winter by Karen Wallace.  The main character, a dormouse, is searching for a safe and warm home to sleep in during the winter.  Along the way she sees many different animals and learns where they live (for example, dens, tree trunks, meadow, hive, stump, nests).

We learned the letters v and w this week and worked on identifying the initial sounds and writing these letters during centers.

Since the holidays are arriving, the kiddos made plates for their parents!

In Math, we introduced flat shapes and made shape pizzas!
