Welcome to December!
As we enter the winter months, we read the story Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson. During this story, a bear sleeps in his den while his friends visit and have a party. Bear wakes up after a pepper fleck causes him to sneeze and he feels sad that he missed the party. The kiddos loved this story. They were such great listeners, that we were able to take turns acting out the story!

Our letters this week were l, h, and k. We practiced writing these letters as well as finding words that begin with each letter.
The kiddos are continuing to work on writing their names, touching the correct Fundations lines.

For math, we worked on identifying numbers 1-10 using beads and cubes.
The kiddos built math stairs with a partner!
We also worked on ordering numbers from 10-0 using numerals and five groups. For technology, we played Curious George Bug Catcher on pbs.org.
To practice recognizing numbers that were one less, we played a game with a partner and covered monsters!
