Vacation is here!
We had an awesome week full of holiday celebrations, lots of smiles, and lots of laughs.
Our story was Little Panda written by Joanne Ryder, a story about Hua Mei a panda born in the San Diego Zoo. We learned how Hua Mei changed throughout the first year of her life and we learned what a little panda likes to do!
We learned our last two letters: z and qu!
The kiddos walked around the room to find words for each letter in the word winter!
We practiced rhyming by building Christmas trees,
and identified CVC words using gingerbread men and gumdrops!
For Math, we used the Smart Board to play a game on pbs.org to practice identifying our solid shapes! The kiddos absolutely loved Peg & Cat's Magical Shape Hunt!
On Wednesday, the kiddos participated in winter themed learning experiences.

But the most fun of the week was our Holiday Party!
