Last full week before break!
The boys and girls practiced identifying letters while playing this turkey game!
They also sorted objects by the initial sounds /l/, /h/, and /k/.
During interactive writing, we wrote a book called Animals. Each page followed this pattern: "Look! I see a ______." The kiddos helped to write the snap words and the first letter in each animals' name.
On Friday, we wrote four things that we are thankful for on turkey feathers. We then colored the feathers, cut out the turkey's body, and glued them together for our bulletin board!
For math, the kiddos learned how to identify numbers that were one less! They glued cards with robots from 10-1 and practiced counting the "One Less" way: "10. One less is 9. 9. One less is 8," (etc). They then wrote the numerals for each card! Here is Chloe's work!
