Welcome back from vacation!
Since Easter fell on the Sunday before we came back, we had egg and bunny themed centers this week!
The kiddos practiced identifying the medial vowel sounds in words by choosing an Easter egg, taking out a picture, and saying the word sssslllllooooooowwwwllyyyyy.
At handwriting center, the boys and girls put these words in order and wrote this sentence using their best hand writing!
They listened to There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Chick by Lucille Colandro and then glued the things she swallowed in order!
During a reading group, two boys worked with me to read CVCe words and find the matching picture!
To practice reading their Snap Words, the boys and girls played Egg Hunt!
On Friday, the kiddos had the chance to design their own avatar for ABCMouse.com!
