Hi Everyone!
This week we started our writing curriculum! The kiddos were asked to write a small moment story of something they have done. They worked independently and did a great job!
During math, we worked on counting objects in a random arrangement and by using our five group mats! The kiddos also played a game called Runaway Pumpkin and practiced writing numerals and using mini erasers to represent those numerals in a tens frame.
During fundations the kiddos learned two new letters, a and g, and they played a game to practice identifying letters.
The kiddos also sorted objects by the initial sound short /a/ or /g/. They then drew pictures for each letter!
