Happy Friday!
This week we learned our first vowels i and u! We will be focusing on the short vowel sounds for most of the year, but we will learn that vowels can also say their name!

We read this book by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault this week. On Friday, we made our own coconut trees and I dressed up as one! Each kiddo put a letter on me as I read the story. It was a blast!
I led the kiddos in step by step drawings the past two weeks! Look at these artists!
