Happy Thanksgiving!
We read an emergent reader "We See A Turkey" by Crystal McGinnis. The kiddos illustrated the story by drawing a turkey on each page.
We also walked around the room, found pictures, and wrote the words that go along with There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie by Alison Jackson.
We also worked on finding and writing letters through Thanksgiving themed activities!
For math, we completed Thanksgiving based centers!
The kiddos rolled a die, wrote the number it landed on, and then put that many feathers on a turkey!
They also rolled and covered a number on a There Was An Old Lady mat.
Finally, they put feathers on turkeys to show all the different representations of a number.
