Hi Everyone!
This week the kiddos had four days of school and are now on a four day weekend. The teachers had professional development on Friday and it was great!
We are working on writing capital letters in our Fundations notebooks!
We are also working on reading and tapping out CVC words. The kiddos read words on hats and then found the picture that matched on snowmen!
In math, we put our measurement knowledge to the test! We measured pictures of classroom objects with cubes!
The kiddos also played measurement games on splashmath.com!
During science, we learned about winter. The kiddos completed Winter booklets by cutting out and gluing pictures to show what people wear, do and see in the winter.
We also read an emergent reader called Winter Clothes. The kiddos colored the pictures and added two pages to tell that we wear a coat and snowpants in the winter.
