December 17-21 Happenings!

Happy Vacation!

This week we learned our last two letters Qq and Zz!  We learned that Q and U are best friends, so whenever you see a Q, a U will come next!

We made a list of Qu words that we saw in the back of our AlphaTales book The Quiet Quail.

The kiddos worked to identify the initial sound in some pictures to build a snowman!

We read There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bell and we fed the Old Lady!

Finding CVC Words to match pictures on many Gingerbread Men's bellies!

 Holiday math centers!

The kiddos showed all the different ways to represent numbers!

Write around the room tens frame!

The kiddos also rolled a die, wrote the number it landed on, and then put that many buttons on a gingerbread man!
