Two snow days this week, so we finished our centers on Monday!
We read Keiko Kasza's My Lucky Day, a story about a pig who tricks a fox into giving him a bath, a nice meal, and a massage. Keiko Kasza is the author of one of my favorite books, A Mother For Choco.
During writing center, the kiddos wrote about what would happen on their lucky day.
At handwriting center, the kiddos built some Trick Words with pattern blocks!
At Pocket Chart Center, the kiddos played a rhyming game with Thing 1 and Thing 2!
At Fundations Center, the kiddos rolled a die and wrote down the Trick Word on which it landed!
In math, we compared shapes using "more" and "fewer"
